TOOTH ACHE  is described as pain, ache or soreness in tooth or around the tooth. Tooth pain can be a discomfort, frustrating and unpleasant experience, it worsen by biting or chewing. CAUSES OF TOOTH PAIN Tooth Decay Tooth Decay is described as cavities, It involves the destruction of enamel [hard outer layer]. Tooth decay occurs by a plaque  [sticky film of bacteria], constantly forms on tooth. When you eat or drink sugars, these bacteria produces acids, and these acids attacks the tooth and forms small holes on tooth. Usually decay in enamel doesn't cause any pain but when it starts extending deep into middle layer [dentin], then sensitivity develops to temperature and touch. ATTRITION DEFINITION:         Defined   as the physiologic wearing of teeth resulting from tooth to tooth contact as in Mastication [chewing].           The word Attrition describes the action of rubbing against something.     As a Dentist and as a Mother after answering too many parents about their child oral health i have started writing this article to provide some knowledge about Oral health for children.      CAVITIES  are also called dental caries or tooth decay. Cavities are most commonly seen in children due to their improper brushing, eating more junk foods, eating more sticky foods like chocolates, candies, pastries, cake etc.. slipping sugary syrups, foods containing more carbohydrates, not gargling mouth after taking food.      Due to these reasons most commonly cavities are occurring in children and these untreated cavities leading to so many problems in children like pain, aesthetic issue, improper eating, Feel discomfort while speaking, playing and learning. IN ANY DISEASE :     The best way to prevent dental caries in children  is to teach them a good oral habit,  take them to dentist for every 6 months, application of fluoride varnish can prevent about 1/3rd of cavities; and using flu
